This product is not new, as the product title states. I used this very same model throughout the big hair 80s and early 90s with little to no problem; it curled my hair perfectly, heated quickly and was easily portable. In almost 15 years I only had to replace it once, when the ignition button died. It's been many years since I've curled my hair and my faithful butane iron disappeared somewhere in a move, but I'm here to purchase another and have no doubts as to how well it will work.
