I did not buy a similar model because it contained butane, but for this model, I didn't see that it did. Well, it does. I bought it for a two-week trip to Europe and am now hesitant to take it because all flammable liquids are prohibited (checked or not). I'd hate for TSA to confiscate it and be out the cash I paid for it. Better to use it for domestic road trips.
