My husband and I often go for a double appointment to get our hair cut. It was late, right before Christmas and we managed to get an appointment. The hairdresser was in a rush and had fit us in that night out of the kindness of her heart. So, she cut my hair and then let me play around with all the hair products and curling irons while she was cutting my husband's hair. I fell in love with the 1 1/4-inch curling iron she had. I then went looking for one for home use.

This has a 1-1/4 inch chrome barrel which is perfect if you want "body" and not really
that much curl. If you have very long hair, it would give you beautiful ringlets.

20 Heat Settings

Low 1-5: Delicate, thin, easy-to-curl hair
Medium 6-10: Average to Wavy or Treated hair
Medium High 11-15: Thick or Wavy Hair
High 16-20: Hard to curl, coarse hair

The "20 Heat Settings" is what sold this product to me. I love the fact that my hair
will not melt even on a low setting. Most curling irons heat up way too much for
me to use and that is why I rarely used them.
